Presentation:
The Minnesota Association of Law Libraries is hosting Dan Booth and Maya Burchette, Copyright Claims Attorneys from the Copyright Office, as they present on "Introducing the Copyright Claims Board".
The Copyright Claims Board (CCB) is a new forum set up to resolve copyright disputes of up to $30,000 as a cheaper and more time-effective alternative to suing in federal court. Libraries have the opportunity to opt out of proceedings, and this presentation provides an excellent opportunity to learn about this new system and ask questions of those directly involved making it function. You can read more about the CCB in Article One and Article Two.
