9:15 Keynote: Bob Ambrogi, AI in Law: The Perfect Storm 

The 1997 book and 2000 movie The Perfect Storm told the story of how a rare combination of meteorological circumstances brought about cataclysmic consequences. In the legal field, recent years have similarly brought about a rare combination of circumstances that have created the “perfect” conditions for generative AI to have a cataclysmic impact on the practice of law and access to justice. In his virtual keynote address, lawyer and legal journalist Bob Ambrogi will share his perspective on why AI’s impact is likely to be profound.

Sarah Larsen and Erica Nutzman, both at the Minnesota State Law Library, will talk about the two incredible exhibits they designed this year.
