Required/Preferred Qualifications

Required Qualifications:  

  • ·         MLS from an ALA accredited graduate school.
  • ·         Two or more years of law library reference experience.
  • ·         Demonstrated knowledge of legal research tools and methodology.
  • ·         Demonstrated service orientation.
  • ·         Demonstrated excellent communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

JD from an ABA accredited law school.

Experience creating research guides using LibGuides platform.  

Duties/Responsibilities:

The temporary reference librarian is to provide legal reference service in all aspects of Anglo-American Law at a large, research-oriented academic law library. The position is available September 2013 through May 2014.
