Since January 1, 2016, there have been a number of changes at the library at 875 Summit Avenue in St. Paul! With the combination of Hamline University School of Law and William Mitchell College of Law, Mitchell Hamline School of Law was born. Two librarians from Hamline joined the Mitchell Hamline Information Resources Team: Selva Palani and Barb Kallusky. In April, Anne Poulter retired. Neal Axton took a temporary position at St. Thomas for the summer, and will spend Fall semester in Kansas, where his wife Sarah Deer will be a visiting professor. In July, Simon Canick resigned to become the Associate Dean for Library and Technology at the University of Maryland School of Law. Barb Kallusky is now Library Director at the Warren E. Burger Library at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. In August, Ayanna Muata moved from Mitchell Hamline to the Hennepin County Library System, and we welcomed Lisa Heidenreich to our staff as a Research and Instructional Librarian. Needless to say, we are all looking forward to a quiet Fall semester!
