The Minnesota Judicial Branch, State Law Library currently has an opening for a librarian in the Law Library Service to Prisoners (LLSP) program. Under an Inter-Agency Agreement between the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Minnesota State Law Library (MSLL), LLSP provides law library service to people incarcerated in Minnesota correctional facilities or otherwise under DOC jurisdiction. The LLSP librarian provides legal information services by researching and providing resources that respond to requests. Both independent and collaborative work are required. Responsibilities may include directing the work of paraprofessionals, interns, or volunteers. Work is performed under the general supervision of a Library Division Supervisor.
