A Note About the Program:
Lance Odegard, National Director of Technology for Thomson Reuters will join us for our winter meeting.
We'll get a brief introduction to terminology (algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more) and then settle back for a freewheeling discussion about what's going on in the background of our searches and how librarians today can assess the search results we get.
Whether it's how news gets pushed to us or how Westlaw orders results, librarians want to know the best ways to search and to evaluate results.
