Downtowners - Hennepin County Law Library's future alignment

  • 02 Dec 2014
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • Fredrikson & Byron, U.S. Bank Plaza, 200 S. 6th St., Mpls.

Lois Langer Thompson, director of Hennepin County Library and acting director of Hennepin County Law Library, and Ed Carroll, manager of Hennepin County Law Library, will talk about the current status of HCLL. Based on the recommendations of a consultant’s strategic review of the Law Library, Hennepin County is moving to “better align the Law Library with the Hennepin County Library system...the alignment will provide the additional support and direction needed by the Law Library to keep pace with the changes in the legal information environment..”*

*For more details -- See Judge Kevin S. Burke’s letter announcing the law library recommendation (June 16, 2014) posted on the Hennepin County Law Library website

Please join us for what promises to be a very interesting discussion involving two organizations that we all interact with frequently.  Bring your questions and your bag lunch. Dessert and beverages will be provided.

RSVP by Monday December 1 to awillemssen@fredlaw.com
